Ms. Adkins: 7th Grade Math and Critical Thinking. Welcome to the Ravens Team!! I am so excited to meet each one of you! We will create lots of memories throughout the coming year. This is my 7th year to be at Cherokee, although I have taught Math at several other schools previously. Here are a few facts about me. I have 3 children. The youngest, Joseph, is almost 18, and a senior this year. This is his fourth year to swim for Hillcrest. I have one grandchild who is 14yrs. old, and will start his first year of high school this year at Hillcrest. I have 1 dog and 1 cat. I love the color pink, I enjoy reading and being outdoors. I lived in Hawaii for 3 years. I ran a marathon in Canada. I traveled to India in the summer of 2012 for 2 weeks to facilitate a conference for teachers. I traveled to Paris in the summer 0f 2013 for 10 days.
